I attended the NFL Combine in person, and I was highly impressed with Lamp’s ability to move and how smooth he was (especially considering he is projected as a Guard). I think he might have had the most complete combine of all the lineman and solidified himself as one of the top of the class.
-Played LT entire career (will likely play Guard in NFL); can he pull?
-Handled Jonathan Allen well
-Short kick-slide steps in pass pro at times (should be fine if he plays Guard); does not hinder his performance at Tackle
-Strong at point-of-attack
-Handled faster pass-rushers well (which is good, considering they have a very good one in Williams)
-My top lineman grade in this class
-A player who can play the entire line if needed
-Length could be an issue for him at Tackle in the NFL, hence the projection at Guard
-Likely a First-Round selection
